Denmark based Annabel and Rasmus held their glorious Summer wedding in Akaroa. Annabel is a kiwi, Rasmus is a Dane and together they held a most excellent cultural mash-up wedding with all the best traditions from each side of the world.

I learnt a lot about Danish weddings and came away wishing us kiwis could adopt a few of these traditions for ourselves! For example – glass-clinking lead to standing on tables, foot-stomping lead to under table pashing, socks were cut and claustrophobic waltzing was done – honestly, it was so much fun.

Oh and guys – that ceremony location is a literal MILLION DOLLAR VIEW. Like you could try to buy that section if you have a mill. If you do I’m coming to visit. It’s not easy organising a wedding from the other side of the world but these two nailed it. It was a true testament to their teamwork (which is also evident in their parenting of their almost edible son, Louie).

Thanks again for having me guys, I had a ball.
