Earlier this year this vivacious pair below (also known as Zoe and Matt) got in touch with their idea of a jaunt into the mountains to get married. Obviously, I thought that sounded like a blimin’ great way to spend a day and so plans begun. And man did it all come off perfectly for them! To strike a dead-still, sun-soaked mountain day in late Autumn was uncannily lucky, and as you’ll see they had created a warm fuzzy-inducing, ‘almost-makes-me-teary-writing-this -blog’ kinda day. With Debbie Hawker on the ceremony goodness and Stacey Banfield being a jack of all the elopement trades we were a team of happy campers doing our jobs with silly smiles plastered on all day long.
When you meet a pair of humans whose ideas about what’s good and fun in life align so well with your own, that’s always cool. But when those humans invite you into their ‘hiking with a side of getting married’ plans…it really does become even more difficult to express your gratitude in writing without sounding like a drip! But I really do want to say that I AM so grateful to Zoe and Matt for choosing me to document and also share in their elopement. It was such an honour and so great to spent the time with you and your wonderful, intrepid witnesses Harsh and Anu. Thank you! Letting me share it with others is special and I appreciate that too. x
Anyway, I hope viewers can feel even a snippet of what was felt on the day while looking through these images. They go real good with a chilled romantic tune in the background too. Never figured out how to put them on my blog (so way you go with your Spotify 😂)
